Co-owner and key member of Novo Music, Leix is one of the Spanish artists who is most respected in the international clubbing scene. He stands out for his interest in the fusion of styles, guaranteeing a constant evolution true to the most up-to-date sounds of house and techno. Leix delights us with his view of underground sound. Both his productions for Novo Music, iRecords, Fumakilla, Monza and Kiara Records (among other labels), as well as his sets, have attained the support of important names in the industry.
The past July 2th, Leix out Akane EP for Dissonant, Marc Antona’s label. A sexy but serious techhouse. With or without voice, the 2 tracks show 2 different sides of his subtil talent. Already available on vinyl (Decks Records) and digital (Beatport). His Akane EP is Leix’s first excursion on Dissonant and what a way to kick things off. Lead cut “Akane” is as perfect a fit as they come. A locked tight groove, devilish kick and a bubbling acid line that tricks us throughout with its undeviating trajectory. On the Flip “Dumnezeu” continues in similar fashion. An understated bassline pulses throughout, as a snare rasps and hats glisten a spoken vocal preaches. The gospel of the dancefloor.
The last Leix’s release is getting supports from artists like: Andrew Grant, tINI, Troy Pierce, Barem, Buchswacka!, Dubfire, Gel Abril, Karotte, Mauro Piccotto, Reboot and many more. As well as media like: Raveline Magazin, TRAX, Mixside.com, Ibiza Global Radio, Viciuos Magazine among others.
